Lecture Start: 6:30 PM
Please order your ticket here.
The artist and biologist Nadine Cueni presents her multimedia installation "Climax – oh temple growing green," an artistic exploration of the tension between the digital post-natural environment and untouched primeval forests. The exhibition opens an immersive film landscape, showcasing "Scatlè," one of the last remaining primeval forests in Switzerland, through impressive forest and architectural imagery.
On this evening, Prof. Harald Bugmann from ETH Zurich will give a lecture on the dynamics of unmanaged forests and the effects of climate change on forest development. As an expert in forest ecology, he will present the significance of unique data collected in Scatlè since 1965 for forest research and will show a video from the reserve that vividly illustrates his scientific investigations.
As the number of places is limited, we recommend early registration to secure your spot and facilitate our organization.
